Cigarettes production

October 25, 2007

The cigarette production is rather interesting process. Paper at full speed passes through the gap, in which the tobacco is given; and then it is pressed, stuck, forming long, endless cigarette. It was considered to be cool to make cigarette a meter long, shifting the sensor after tune and setting. This long cigarette is cut according to the given length, and then the filter is set from the butt of the cigarette, it is wrapped into the foil, then the cigarettes are put into the pack, which every smoker keeps in hands every day. After this, drying line, excise label attaching, stocking, pasting the block together. All these actions are fulfilled by one device, which resembles a garage by size.

Such components for cigarettes as foil, typographic symbol on cigarette packs, packs, cartons and others are made by other firms, tobacco workers do not engaged in this.

There is also a ripper in tobacco production. The point is that during every start‐stop‐printing of cigarette machine minimum five blocks of cigarettes turn into waste. During the machine tune, tens and hundreds of cigarette blocks appear there. Imagine a kind of basin wheel‐mounted. 7 or 8 of such basins, filled with cigarettes, are gathered by the end of working day. These cigarettes are cut by the special cutting knife, tobacco goes for production repeatedly, and everything else is eliminated.

Sometimes it is happened that the lot of tobacco is spoiled due to circumstances beyond our control. Temperature, pressure, something else. Such lot is poured with something that spoils tobacco irreversibly and dumped.
